Today is my last day of school for the week! Tomorrow, were cleaning house, and starting some of the baking. Mostly the desserts. :) My Mom is going to make homeade cinnnomon rolls for breakfast on thursday. Were going to make a pumpkin pie, and a chocolate peanutbutter pie.
My favorites are Mashed potatoes and Sweet Potato Casserole. I loooooove mashed potatoes. And the Sweet Potato Casserole is so good. It's almost more like a dessert. ;) I think it is more popular to put marshmellows on top, but my Mom just puts like a mixture of crushed cornflakes, and something else, I'm not sure, ;) but it's kind of sweet, and so good. ;)
So, anyway, what's your absolute favorite? :)
Friday, (the day after thanksgiving) :) were going to put up the tree and decorate the house! I'm excited! We have had the same (artificial) tree for a little over 20 years I think. The same one that my sisters and I all grew up using. I think that is so sweet. Last year we had to buy a new stand for it, but other then that, It has held up very well. (Oh, and it is a little crooked) :) But that's ok! :)

I love getting ready for holidays! Sweet potato cassarole is probably my favorite also! I just finished making it actually~ It is labeled under "Vegetable" in my mom's cookbook-- seriously? It has a cup of sugar on it, for cryin' out loud! ;)
